ABOUT CORDELL PAIGE

New to the professional gospel scene, Cordell Paige is making his mark to becoming one of the most lyrical gospel artist to date. Growing up Cordell was no stranger to gospel music coming from a faith based family.  Cordell played the drums as well as lending his voice in the youth choir at Progressive Life Giving Word Cathedral, under Apostle Donald L. Alford. It was in his teenage years that he discovered he had lyrical abilities. Thus, emerged "Fyoucha", the young Chicago rapper known for his punchlines and many battles. Bouncing from group to group, he was finally ready to share his talent with the world.

Performing in just about every night scene in the Chicagoland area, he began to get bookings state to state with many big name hip hop artist. He then took his talent to Florida. There he would sign to an independent record label. After a life changing tour bus ride his music career came to a screeching halt. At that moment he decided he was done. But God had a different plan. In 2014, Cordell moved back to Joliet. After hearing Jonathan McReynolds “No Grey" God began to reveal his purpose to Cordell that very moment. Dropping the character of Fyoucha he then returned to his true identity, Cordell Paige. Cordell's motto is simple: Reach the youth by any means necessary and “Make God Cool Again.” This thought process makes this gospel artist equipped with punchlines and metaphors that are unstoppable. God called and this time Cordell was ready to answer.
